Thank you for your interest in the 52nd ERA-EDTA Congress in London (28th – 31st May, 2015) ERA-EDTA will grant press credentials to journalists employed by accredited media organisations for the purpose of editorial coverage. Official industry spokespersons, staff and communications agents are not eligible for press registration. Pre-registered journalists can pick up their press passes at the press lounge. Journalists can also register on-site (with their press card and a letter of assignment from the media organisation being represented). “Pre-Congress” Press Event Medical Journalists´ Association (MJA) Meeting: Kidney Congress Insights Tuesday, May 26, 7.00-9:30 pm The Medical Society, 11 Chandos St., London, W1G 9EB Kidney disease is quickly becoming a silent epidemic and on the eve of the 52nd ERA-EDTA Congress, which is being held in London, journalists have the opportunity to hear the latest insights and quiz the experts at the meeting at the Medical Society.
Scientific Press Conference Friday, May 29, 9.30-10.30 am London Suite 4, ExCeL London A selection of the "Late Breaking Clinical Trials" (LBCT) and of papers of the special nephrology issue of “The Lancet” will be presented by their authors and will be discussed. Please note that the embargo of the LBCT is lifted at the start of the paper´s presentation in the LBCT session of the main program – but not at the press conference (see embargo policy)!
Press Get-together Friday, May 29, 8.00 pm (location t.b.a.) We would like to invite all who join the press conference to an informal Press Get-together (location to be announced) – please sign up in the press office on Friday if you wish to attend.
ERA-EDTA will be providing a fully-equipped press lounge (computers with internet access/printer). Press folders and other materials as well as refreshments will be available. Any media representative who would like to conduct an interview with the ERA-EDTA President, an ERA-EDTA Council Member, or one of the Congress Presidents, please contact Bettina Albers via email ( or ). The press office might also be of help to contact the speakers from scientific presentations (email addresses of all speakers are available). All abstracts presented at the ERA-EDTA are embargoed until the date and time of their presentation. The embargo is lifted at the beginning of a presentation, not of the beginning of a session!
